DO YOU PROVIDE THERAPY OUTSIDE OF EVALUATIONS?

Yes, our providers are skilled in therapeutic intervention. 50-minute sessions are billed at 180 dollars a session. Again, we do not take insurance, but we will provide you with paperwork that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

HOW LONG DOES EACH EVALUATION TAKE?

This is one of the most difficult questions to answer because all of our assessments are tailored to the individual. When we conduct our initial phone interview and understand the client's needs, we will be able to provide a much better estimate tailored to your specific situation.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR AN EVALUATION?

At PACE, we always start with an initial phone interview to understand you. This is a no-cost initial consultation that can last 30-60 minutes. During this time, we will seek to understand your concerns and work with you to determine the best way forward.

If together we decide that a short assessment or longer evaluation is required, we will schedule that at the end of our phone call. We strive to schedule that appointment within two weeks based on your availability during that time.

Once the assessment or evaluation has occurred, we will meet with you in person to go over all of our findings and results. We will also provide you with a written report of our findings.

If we decide together that short-term therapy is a solid treatment approach, we will also work together to schedule that at a time that is convenient to you.

ARE THE RESULTS CONFIDENTIAL?

Psychological assessment, consultation, and evaluation is protected by patient privacy law. Therefore, results are confidential unless you provide us with written consent and request us to communicate with another party. Exceptions to this include our own compliance with state law to protect patients and others from harm.

HOW MUCH DOES AN EVALUATION COST?

The costs depend on the treatment. All initial phone consultations are free of charge.

Assessments and evaluations vary according to complexity. We will provide you with the costs of any treatment during our phone consultation based on the necessary course of action.

Generally speaking, assessments and evaluations range from $2,000 to $4,000. This covers the costs of all initial interviews, consultation, testing and testing materials, reports, and feedback sessions to review the reports.

School observations, consultations with employers, consultations with schools and other facilities are also available and vary in cost depending on complexity.

That said, there are NO HIDDEN COSTS! We will provide you with the estimated cost at the time we schedule your evaluation, and we will not increase the cost past that point.
